The Humiliation of Babylon

Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches! clic aquí en español * "8 O daughter of Babylon, doomed to be destroyed,     blessed shall he be who repays you     with what you have done to us!” Psalm 137:8 Isaiah Chapter 47 , “God's judgments on Babylon. (1-6) Carelessness and confidence shall not prevent the evil. (7-15)” -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 47.   This prophecy describes the god Babylon as female (see Psalm 71:18) symbol who is in distress.   Those that worship her are miserable (see Zephaniah 2:15) and God will utterly destroy her and all that worship her are lost. “15 Such to you are those with whom you have labored, who have done business with you from your youth; they wander about, each in his own direction; there is no one to save you.” Isaiah 46:12-13  English Standard Versions (ESV).   When you pray who are you calling on, in   whose name (see Colossians 3:16-17) are praying?  We do not pray to any or in any other (see Romans 6:23) name than Jesus.  “[The Resurrection of Christ] Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,” Romans 3:23-24 ESV.   Jesus (see Titus 3:7) set men free from sin and death first on the cross then in the resurrection.   In the end Babylon will be (see Revelation 14:8, Revelation 16:19, Revelation 17:5) humiliated Do you hear Jesus calling you?   Do you want love and be loved?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm The Feast belongs to Jesus!
