Feast
Apr.

Comfort for the Contrite
Gods Not Dead! Please join us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Isaiah Chapter 57, “The blessed death of the righteous. (1,2) The abominable
idolatries of the Jewish nation. (3-12)
Promises to the humble and contrite. (13-21)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter
57. There is no sting of death for contrite persons; they will
(see Luke
2:29) will
enter into peace and rest. When accountability is required by God (see Psalm
35:21) the foolish ridicule the word of
God. As contrite and humble servants of the Lord we will receive (see Luke
1:49) God’s blessings. There is no peace
for those who rail against God; “20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot
be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. 21 There is no
peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”” Isaiah 57:20-21 English Standard Versions (ESV. The Lord draws near to comfort (see Psalm 34:18) the repentant and contrite
heart. “knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited
from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but
with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or
spot.”
1 Peter 1:18-19 ESV. God’s son was not sacrificed
for the righteous (see Romans
3:9-11) instead He ransomed the contrite hearted ones who
called on Jesus for salvation..
Can you hear Jesus calling you? Would
like to you follow Him? Do you want to
find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
