Today’s Feast
Apr. 22, 2014 – Isaiah 55
The
Compassion of the Lord
Gods Not Dead! Please join us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word over approximately three years.
“6 “Blessed are
those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be
satisfied.” Matthew
5:6
Isaiah Chapter 55, “An invitation to receive freely the blessings of the Saviour. (1-5) Gracious
offers of pardon and peace. (6-13)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter
55.
God is inviting whomsoever will (see John 6:27) to share in the truly good
life. It is our
Lord God offering forgiveness and abundant life (see Isaiah
35:1-2) in the name of the our Messiah Jesus;
“1 2“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the
mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and
all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of
the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up
the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign
that shall not be cut off.”” Isaiah 55:12-13 English Standard Versions (ESV. We the abundant life and salvation beginning
the minute we accept Jesus; “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and
divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the
world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”
Romans 1:20 ESV. We don’t need to get
clean, right or ready (see John
3:16) it is the gift of life everlasting already paid in full by
Jesus; “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no
one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is
greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
I and the Father are one.””

“[God's Everlasting Love] 31 What then shall we say
to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He
who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not
also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring
any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.”
Romans 8:31-33 ESV.
