The Feast
Dec 1, 2011 - Genesis 19 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 19. Abraham’s pleading to God payed off in that God sent angels to look for any that were worthy of his mercy in Sodom. They found only one person worthy in Sodom and that was Abraham’s nephew Lot. The angels allowed Lot to warn his children. But like so many when offered God’s mercy, they took it as a joke; “12Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place. 13For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it." 14So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, "Up! Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city." But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting." Genesis 19:12-14 English Standard Version (ESV). Again we examine God’s mercy in Salvation “Issues Number One”. For us that’s Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! When we share God’s plan where Jesus as our Savior pays for our salvation granted to any who accept his gift. Many think it’s so easy it must be a joke. Right now they love darkness rather than light because they are fooled by the Liar. We can only share what God gives us to share then it is up to them. They must turn from their sin and accept the gift payed for by Jesus, I guess that’s why Jesus said; "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.” Matthew 7:13 ESV
“[The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-2, 14 ESV

Be ready to stand; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and follow Jesus. We worship and fellowship with the Saints that measures up to God’s Word. Softly and sweetly Jesus is calling, accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with.
