The Feast Daily Edition
Dec 26, 2011 - Genesis 44
Dear Saints,
I hope you all had a great and blessed birthday holiday for our Lord and Savior Jesus, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 44. In this Scripture we see Joseph first a slave to the Pharaoh. Now in charge of all the Pharaoh has, dealing with the brothers that sold him into slavery. He talked to his brothers through an interpreter so their was no reason for his brothers to recognize him. Joseph was falsely represented to his brothers. He accused his youngest brother of returning his kindness with thievery. In fact he set him up ; ” 1 Then he commanded the steward of his house, “Fill the men's sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put each man's money in the mouth of his sack, 2and put my cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, with his money for the grain.”’" Genesis 44:1 English Standard Version (ESV). So we see Joseph gave into the flesh and sinned against his father and God. It doesn’t seem possible after the love and grace of our God were so richly blessed on his life. God understood what was happening; “8 And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.” Genesis 8:21 ESV. Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners.
“he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.” Luke 2:28-32 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
If you want to be saved and turn away from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com
Please join us in prayer at; http://www.admenu.com/cc5/index.php?cID=80# You the living Saints that are God’s Church, made by his hands, God will bless you as you pray continuously with us. We would love to add your Praise and Prayer request. mlitew8@gmail.com
It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
