The Feast Weekend Edition
Dec 16-18, 2011 - Genesis 34-36
Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 34 - 36. In this Scripture we see Jacob’s daughter being shamed and raped. Immediately I thought of a woman currently living somewhere in the far east, where the people worship a strange god.;”2And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her, he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her." Genesis 34:2 English Standard Version (ESV). I heard the story on the news last week, the exact same thing I thought. You might be very surprised at they handled it over there. They put the young girl in prison for adultery. I understand she was lucky her and the baby were not executed. I thought surely this is not the story to share with the saints so I went on to read the next two chapters in our Feast. Then I saw it God wants to remind us that he knows each and everyone of us. No believer should be lonely or depressed or upset at the world. God knows who everyone is, where they came from and where they are going, look at this verse; “40These are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their clans and their dwelling places, by their names: the chiefs Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 41Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 42Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 43Magdiel, and Iram; these are the chiefs of Edom (that is, Esau, the father of Edom), according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession.” Genesis 36:40 ESV. Our God full of grace sees us covered with the blood of the Lamb, our names are in the book of life! I get so excited. Thank anyone living in the world not saved clebrating Jesus Birthday. If they ask what the big desal is say ; “He was born the gift of God so we who have accepted him as their saviour has our name written in the Book of Life!” That may just be the push they need to find salvation.
This is the season. “[Mary’s Song of Praise: The Magnificat] And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.” Luke 1:46-47, 49 ESV

You can help them out share thas with them. Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now tell your friend if you want to go to church with them. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com

It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
