The Feast

Dec 12, 2011 - Genesis 30

Dear Saints,

Did you have a blessed weekend? Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 30. In this Scripture we see Laban more than willing to cheat Jacob; 34Laban said, "Good! Let it be as you have said."35But that day Laban removed the male goats that were striped and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white on it, and every lamb that was black, and put them in the charge of his sons. 36And he set a distance of three days’ journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob pastured the rest of Laban’s flock." Genesis 30:34-36 English Standard Version (ESV). Now God makes a way for the oppressed to overcome the treachery of dishonest people; “41Whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, Jacob would lay the sticks in the troughs before the eyes of the flock, that they might breed among the sticks, 42but for the feebler of the flock he would not lay them there. So the feebler would be Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.” Genesis 30:41-42 ESV. So do you think Jacob was sinning in the way he set up the breeding? I think God gave him a way to overcome Laban’s treachery. God takes care of his people, they will always overcome treachery;”but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.Isaiah 40:31 ESV. Wait on the Lord Saint, he has our back. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4-5 ESV

I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Do you want Jesus to be your friend? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com

How to get ready? It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
