The Feast
Dec 7, 2011 - Genesis 25 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 25. Today's Feast is a perfect picture of how man can through away their opportunity for ever lasting life with God; “29Once when Jacob was cooking stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted. 30And Esau said to Jacob, "Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!" (Therefore his name was called Edom.[e])31Jacob said, "Sell me your birthright now." 32Esau said, "I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?"33Jacob said, "Swear to me now." So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright." Genesis 25:29 - 34 English Standard Version (ESV). We see Esau walking away sure that he traded what was his for something (Bread and Soup) he thought more important at the time. Beside surely his father would know he was tricked and would not withhold his blessing. Sometimes even Christians feel like it is only words when they sin. I tell you Christian Saints every sin is another lash on our Lord and Master Jesus. No matter how your feeling you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and when you sin your grieving God. We need to learn how to control the most unruly part of the body, our tongue. “but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.” 1 Thessalonians 2:4
“Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,” John 11:25 ESV
I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Do you hear him, Jesus is calling, accept Jesus into your heart? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart, you need fellowship and so do we. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Know this if you sinned the sin that can’t be forgiven, you won’t hear Jesus calling.
Join us in prayer at; http://www.admenu.com/cc5/index.php?cID=80# You the living Saints that are God’s Church, made by his hands, God will bless you as you pray continuously with us. We would love to add your Praise and Prayer request. mlitew8@gmail.com
Stand ready no matter how you feel; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus.
