The Weekend Feast
Dec 2-4, 2011 - Genesis 20-22 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 20 - 22. God called to Abraham telling him to take his son to the mountain and sacrifice him. Abraham obeying God took his son preparing an offering; “9When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here am I." 12He said, "Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me." 13And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14So Abraham called the name of that place, "The LORD will provide";[b] as it is said to this day, "On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided." Genesis 22:9-14 English Standard Version (ESV). Again we examine God’s mercy just as Abraham did when God calls us to do something we should do it. For if we obey our Lord without worrying, about the cost,or even if we already had accepted an invitation to play bunco, we just need to obey God. God will provide for the task and they’ll have some one to talk about at the tables that day. Then for by Jesus sake, we will finish the task and return to our Beersheba. Beersheba means well of seven or well of the oath and it was Abrahams home. I guess that’s why when asked what is the most important commandment Jesus said; "29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:29-30 ESV. Then Jesus added; “31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. “ Mark 12:31. Now try doing this right after your neighbors dog comes in your yard and does something despicable, like digs in you flower bed or something.
“[The Supremacy of God’s Son] Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.”Hebrews 1:1-2 ESV

How shall I stand; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and follow Jesus. We worship and fellowship with the Saints that measures up to God’s Word. Sinner oh Sinner, Softly and sweetly Jesus is calling, accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
