The Feast New Year Edition Blessed New Year 2012 Dec 30,11 - Jan1,12 - Genesis 48-50 Dear Saints, For our new years weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 48 Through Genesis 50. In this Scripture we see How the faith in God worked for Israel and his fore fathers, as well as his sons. This being our New Year 2012 Feast I will explore our reason for the Feast. We read every word in God’s Word about every 3 years. Where does our faith come from? ”So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17 English Standard Version (ESV). So faith comes from the Word (Jesus) of God. Why do we keep reading it over and over again? That’s like asking; “Why do we eat everyday?” Jesus said; “But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 ESV. What is our Goal? Not to replace your home church, nor to promote religion. Our goal is to obey Jesus and promote relationship with him sharing in his salvation. “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 ESV. So as we move forward in our seventh year of the Feast, let’s keep the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, God’s riches at Christs Expense (GRACE). Freely given by God and received from Jesus. Shared by strength in the Holy Ghost. The Feast Genesis 47

The Feast Daily Edition Dec 29, 2011 - Genesis 47   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 47. In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) & all of Egypt dealing in faith with Joseph. Why did they have faith in a man? Joseph was true to God concerning everything in his life. If you say you love the Lord and have made him Lord of your life, then all the eyes of those around you will watch to see how you live. ”23 Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have this day bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land. 24 And at the harvests you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and as food for yourselves and your households, and as food for your little ones., 25 And they said, “You have saved our lives;may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh.,’" Genesis 47:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV). We see Joseph doing just what God tells him to do. Now that brings me to issue number one “Salvation”! If you are obedient to God you will see the Light grow brighter again in your life. Then your very life will be a witness for Jesus.   “[I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life] “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”John 14:1-3 ESV I’m looking forward to your input. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. The Feast - Genesis 46

The Feast Daily Edition Dec 28, 2011 - Genesis 46   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 46. In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) dealing with God concerning the journey to Egypt. ” 3 Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation. 4 I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph's hand shall close your eyes.’" Genesis 46:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV). We see Israel doing just what God tells him to do. Now that brings me to issue number one “Salvation”! Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners. So confess your sin and ask God forgiveness. If you are obedient to God you will see the Light grow brighter again in your life.   “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 ESV I’m looking forward to your input. Dec 27, 2011 - Genesis 45

The Feast Daily Edition       Dec 27, 2011 - Genesis 45   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 45. In this Scripture we see Joseph dealing with the brothers that sold him into slavery. He talked to his brothers through an interpreter so their was no reason for his brothers to recognize him. Joseph falsely represented himself to his brothers. Finally he could keep up the lie no more. He told his brothers the truth hoe God had blessed him. When he confessed the truth to his brothers, God blessed him again; ” 16 When the report was heard in Pharaoh's house, “Joseph's brothers have come,” it pleased Pharaoh and his servants.17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Say to your brothers, “Do this: load your beasts and go back to the land of Canaan, 18and take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land.” 19 And you, Joseph, are commanded to say, ‘Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and bring your father, and come. 20 Have no concern for your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’" Genesis 44:1 English Standard Version (ESV). So we see Joseph stopped lying and sinning against his father and God, he was so richly blessed again. The next time you feel not so close to God examine yourself and see if you have moved away from the Light! Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners.
