The Feast Early Edition Dec 15, 2011 - Genesis 33 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 33. In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) headed back to be with his family, particularly his brother Esau. He was not Sure how his brother would accept him;”1And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold,Esau was coming, and four hundred men with him. So he divided the children among Leah and Rachel and the two female servants. 2And he put the servants with their children in front, then Leah with her children, and Rachel and Joseph last of all. 3He himself went on before them, bowing himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother." Genesis 33:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV). This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Sometimes we have trouble approaching people about salvation. We know they will have an eternal time cut off from God and the Church without salvation. Start off easy just invite your friends or acquaintances to church this week. You might be very surprised at their reaction. “4 But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept” Genesis 33:4 ESV. They see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them. This is the season. “And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:30-33ESV I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Maybe your wondering what it is that keeps the Feast going? Accept God’s free gift, invite Jesus into your heart. Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
