The Best of the Feast
Feb 13, 2017 – II Thessalonians 3
Warned Against Idleness!
Please join
with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
In the third chapter Paul
requests prayer and warns against lazy busy bodies. He closes with
this benediction; “16 Now may the Lord of peace
Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 17 The
salutation of Paul with my own hand, which is a sign in every epistle; so I
write. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16-18 New King
James Version (NKJV). Idle busy bodies bring shame on the Word of
God as well as their selves (see Matthew 12:36-37). Jesus
himself gave us a work plan for the Saints (see Matthew 28:16-20) today. “1 “Let not
your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.2 In My Father’s house
are many mansions; if it were not so, I
would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare
a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I
am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3 NKJV. Remember
your faith will be accompanied with action (see James 2:20). I can assure you
faith without works is dead. Let the Word of God direct us in all
we do and say thusly honoring Jesus until He comes for us. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Can
you hear Jesus calling you? Do you want God to set you
free? Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in
your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions please

Today’s Verse; “16 For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV.
