The Best of the Feast
Feb 22, 2017 – Proverbs 9
The Way of Wisdom & Folly
The fear of the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
Please join
with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
In Proverbs 9 we see the
contrasts between seeking wisdom as opposed to folly! “16 "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here";
And as for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, 17 "Stolen
water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant." 18 But he does
not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell.” Proverbs 9:16-18 New
King James Version (NKJV). Persons that hide what they are doing
from the light of God’s Word are being foolish. (see John 3:20). People
who seek Jesus and his love are at the beginning of wisdom and
insight. Jesus said that he is the light of the world (see John 8:12)
those who follow Him have the light of life. “5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And
walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.” Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV. When
we are walking in the light with Jesus; we’re walking in love! If the Lord is willing I will write and post
the Feast tomorrow.
Is
Jesus calling you? Do you want the
abundant life? Do you want to find
true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s Verse; “18 There is no fear in love;
but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who
fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18 NKJV.
