The Best of the Feast
Feb 23, 2017 – Proverbs 10
Share A Hand Up Or A Back Hand?
Jesus is the Wisdom so often spoken
of in Proverbs!
Please join
with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
As we read Proverbs 10 again
we see the contrasts between seeking wisdom as opposed to folly! “
31 The mouth of the righteous
brings forth wisdom, But the perverse tongue will be cut out. 32 The lips of
the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is
perverse.” Proverbs 10:31-32 New King James
Version (NKJV). When you and I seek to share Jesus with the sinner do we
attack them for their sin or do we offer the love of Jesus (see Romans 12:9). I think that
when people are caught up in sin they must think Jesus is waiting to drop a
hammer on their head. The way some Christians present salvation to
them sort of confirms that view. Remembering that we are
sinners whom Jesus saved we should find a better way to offer the love of
Jesus (see Proverbs 18:19). It is
good to hate the sin but remember Jesus came to redeem the sinner. “14 Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the
Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. 15 Hate evil, love
good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts
Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.” Amos 5:14-15 NKJV. We
share a loving God with the world; remember he is not willing that any should
parish. When we share Jesus, we are sharing salvation and love. If
the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Is
Jesus calling you? Do you want the
abundant life? Do you want to find
true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s Verse; “22 Do they not go astray who
devise evil? But mercy and truth belong to those who devise good.” Proverbs 14:22 NKJV.
