The Best of the Feast Feb 8, 2017 – Colossians 4 Celebrate Jesus, Every Day! We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading Colossians 4. In Colossians 4 Paul is urging those in power to take care of those who work for them just as God has cared for them.  Continuing constantly in prayer in the name of Jesus.  We are to be examples of Christian life in no matter what we are doing.  Paul prays that God’s grace be with them in his closing greetings to the Colossians.  “17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it." 18 This salutation by my own hand--Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen..”  Colossians 4:17-18  – New King James Version (NKJV).  How do you think Paul would be closing the epistle if we were the saints he was addressing today?  He would probably say never to cease celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  Let our light continue to shine in its fullness for those wise enough to be seeking Jesus. “1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:1-2  NKJV.  Honor Jesus in everything you do and say (see Colossians 3:17).  Remember God sent Jesus to save the world not condemn it.   If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
