The Best of the Feast
Feb 19, 2017 – Proverbs 6
Practical Warnings Against Sin!
Because the wages of sin
are death both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
Please join
with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Proverbs 6 points out that we
are stewards of God’s gifts, and we will answer to God if we waste them in
foolish schemes. We are to use due diligence in business not for
worldly profits but so that we will not be a burden to others. Persons who
are apathetic will be ruined financially. Before any person
commits adultery, they need to consider what a heinous sin it is. “20 My son, keep your father's command, And do not
forsake the law of your mother. 21 Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie
them around your neck. 22 When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep,
they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.” Proverbs 6:20-22 New King James
Version (NKJV). We are to honor our parents in all we do; this is
the first commandment that comes with a promise (see Ephesians 6:2)! Let the love
of Jesus lead you in every aspect of your life. “8 He has told
you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do
justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 ESV. Any
burden incurred as we follow Jesus will be easy to endure (see Matthew 11:29-30). Reject
sin! Be good stewards of the gifts God gives us everything we do
in the name of Jesus brings us Joy and peace of mind. If the Lord is willing I will
write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Can

Today’s Verse; “Beloved, if God so loved us,
we also ought to love one another. [ Seeing God Through Love ] No one has
seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love
has been perfected in us.” 1 John 4:11-12 NKJV.
