Today’s Feast
Feb.28, 2014 – Isaiah 2
In The Day Of The Lord
“23 Of this man's
offspring God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised.” Acts 13:23
Isaiah Chapter
2, “The
conversion of the Gentiles, Description of the sinfulness of Israel. (1-9)
The awful punishment of unbelievers. (10-22)” -
Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 2. Isaiah
prophesies the spread of the gospel and the calling of the Gentiles. It is
pure absurdity to think that those who won’t obey God (See Ro 14:11) will
escape God’s wrath. “22 Stop
regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he?“ Isaiah 2:22 English
Standard Versions (ESV). Isaiah speaks about the coming of God’s judgment (see
Isaiah 2:8) on those who trust in their own
work. Don’t fret about your salvation
if you are born again (see Hebrews
13:5) in Jesus; “for God
gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV.
If we have faith in Jesus we needn’t worry (see Matthew 17:19-20) we will be able to move mountains.
We who have faith in Jesus know “The Day Of The Lord” will be a
blessing for us! We will share the
love of Jesus with the world!
Is Jesus calling you? Do
you want to trust Jesus? Do you want
to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
The Feast does
belong to Jesus! It is intended to encourage Saints to pray and read every
word in the bible! Let me know if you
have any questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.
The Feast belongs to Jesus you may
share it anywhere with anyone!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

In Words Or In The Word?
Today’s Feast
Feb.27, 2014 – Isaiah 1
In Words Or In The Word?
“1 In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
Isaiah Overview; “Isaiah prophesied in the reigns of
Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. He has been well called the evangelical
prophet, on account of his numerous and full prophesies concerning the coming
and character, the ministry and preaching, the sufferings and death of the
Messiah, and the extent and continuance of his kingdom. Under the veil of the
deliverance from Babylon, Isaiah points to a much greater deliverance, which
was to be effected by the Messiah; and seldom does he mention the one,
without alluding at the same time to the other; nay, he is often so much
enraptured with the prospect of the more distant deliverance, as to lose
sight of that which was nearer, and to dwell on the Messiah's person, office,
character, and kingdom.” - Matthew
Henry Concise
Isaiah Chapter 1, “The corruptions
prevailing among the Jews. (1-9) Severe censures. (10-15) Exhortations to
repentance. (16-20) The state of Judah is lamented; with gracious promises of
the gospel times. (21-31) ”

Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 1. Isaiah
prophesies the coming of Jesus the Savior, and the Day Of Salvation. Those
who know the Word and (See Jeremiah 8:7) those
who won’t. “31 And the
strong shall become tinder, and his work a spark, and both of them shall burn
together, with none to quench them.“ Isaiah 1 English
Standard Versions (ESV). Isaiah speaks about the rewards for those who trust in words (see
Isaiah 66:24) as opposed those who trust in the Word. “Little
children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 ESV.
This is the thing every Christian must determine for their self; Am I
sharing words or Am I sharing the truth in love, (see Ephesians 4:15) the Word.
Can you hear Jesus calling you?
Do you want what Jesus has planned for you? Do you want to find true happiness, peace
and purpose in your life? If the
answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Because God So Loved All Of Us!
Today’s Feast
Feb.26, 2014 – 2nd Timothy 4
Because God So Loved The World!
“35 ‘Stay dressed for
action and keep your lamps burning,” Luke 12:35
2nd Timothy Chapter 4, “The apostle
solemnly charges Timothy to be diligent, though many will not bear sound
doctrine. (1-5) Enforces the charge from his own martyrdom, then at hand.
(6-8) Desires him to come speedily. (9-13) He cautions, and complains of such
as had deserted him; and expresses his faith as to his own preservation to
the heavenly kingdom. (14-18) Friendly greetings and his usual blessing.
(19-22)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 3. Paul
is cautioning Timothy to adhere to the Word (See Romans 1:30) even
when many are falling away from Jesus.
He stresses his faith in Jesus to Timothy. The epistle closes with Paul praying for
blessings for Timothy and the Church. “18 The Lord
will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly
kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen; 22 The Lord be with your
spirit. Grace be with you.“ 2 Timothy 4:18; 22 English
Standard Versions (ESV). Like Paul you and I should be continually praying
for our brother and sisters (see
Galatians 6:18) that Jesus Christ be with their
spirits. “In this the love of God was made
manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we
might live through him.” 1 John 4:9 ESV.
God loved us so much that he sent His only son, Jesus (see John 3:16) to pay the full price
for everyone who accepts God’s gift of eternal life.
Don’t wait, today is the day of salvation! Is Jesus
calling you? Do you want what Jesus
has planned for you? Do you want to
find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God
Today’s Feast
Feb.25, 2014 – 2nd Timothy 3
All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God
“But how then should
the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” Matthew 26:54
2nd Timothy Chapter 3, “The apostle
foretells the rise of dangerous enemies to the gospel. (1-9) Proposes his own
example to Timothy. (10-13) And exhorts him to continue in the doctrine he
had learned from the Holy Scriptures. (14-17)” -
Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 3. Paul
a brother in Jesus Christ is warning Timothy, that Godlessness will grow in
the church (See Romans 1:30) some
are loving their twisted pleasures above Jesus. He implores Timothy to continue to serve
Jesus, standing fast in the good
doctrine the (see 1 Timothy 4:6-7)
avoiding silly
myths. “16 All Scripture is breathed out by God
and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in
righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every
good work.“ 2 Timothy 3:16-17 English
Standard Versions (ESV). When someone in the church or in sin puts
forth anything contrary to the Word of God, DO NOT hit them with your bible. Again Paul warns us not to fight or banter (see
Titus 3:9) with worldly people. “And he
said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first
commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself. ” Matthew 22:37-39 ESV.
Once more I am reminded that it is far better to encourage than to
discourage sinners. If a brother or
sister is in error concerning the saving
gospel let scripture (see Matthew 18:14-17) guide you actions. Because we
are sure Jesus is always right, obey the gospel (see Mark
6:11) when a sinner rejects God’s Word.
We are sure of this; “All
Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof,
for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may
be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2
Timothy 3:16-17 ESV. Let God’s
Word be the light that guides our lives!
In your heart do you feel Jesus calling you? Do
you know Jesus has plans for you? Do
you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

“For I
know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not
for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and
come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when
you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah
29:11-13 ESV.
