Today’s Feast
Mar. 27, 2014 – Isaiah 29
The Siege of Jerusalem
Share the Feast in God’s Word;
join us as we share God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!
“19 The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord, and the poor among
mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 29:19
Isaiah Chapter 29, “Judgements
on Jerusalem and on its enemies. (1-8) The senselessness and hypocrisy of the
Jews. (9-16) The conversion of the Gentiles, and future blessings for the
Jews. (17-24))” -
Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 29. The prophet calls for God’s people to understand
(see Isaiah 17:13 ) that
religious services is not what God requires. Pretending to speak to God (see Isaiah 1:12 ) they are thinking foolish thoughts. They lack the fear of God which produces a
heart (see Isaiah 28:7) that is at odds with
God’s heart; “24 And those who go astray in spirit will
come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.” Isaiah 29:24 English Standard Versions (ESV). “On Christ the solid rock I stand all other
ground is sinking sand!” (see Luke
6:47-49) "My
Hope is Built on Nothing Less" - Lutheran Hymnal. “On God rests my salvation
and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.” Psalm 62:7 ESV. When we cry “Abba Father” to whom (see
Romans
8:14-16) are we calling? There
is only one answer to that question; “Jesus!” there is no other name under
heaven (see Acts 4:11-12) by which we are saved.
Is Jesus calling
you? Do you want your life renewed? Do you want to find true happiness, peace
and purpose in your life? If the answer
is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
The Feast belongs
to Jesus! It is intended to encourage Saints to pray and read every word in
the bible! Let me know if you have any
questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.
The Feast belongs to Jesus you may
share it anywhere with anyone!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike
