Today’s
Feast
Mar. 15, 2014 – Isaiah 17
An Oracle Concerning Damascus
Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us as we
share God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!
“5 You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked
perish;” Psalm
9:5
Isaiah Chapter 17, “Syria
and Israel threatened. (1-11) The woe of Israel's enemies. (12-14)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 17. Because Damascus won’t cease rebelling against
God (see Jeremiah
49:23-27) she will be destroyed. The enemies of God’s people (see
Psalm
83:13) will be carried away like chaff before
the wind. “14 At evening time,
behold, terror! Before morning, they
are no more! This is the portion of those who loot us, and the lot of those
who plunder us.”” Isaiah
17:14 English Standard
Versions (ESV). God rebuked the terror of the enemies (see
Joel 3:2) of His people. “let
it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the
dead—by him this man is standing before you well. And there is salvation in
no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which
we must be saved.”” Acts 4:10,12 ESV. Every person
God calls (see Acts
3:6) receives more than they give up by following Jesus. Whatever we gave up to follow Jesus (see
Mark 8:36) was not worth what we gained.
Can you feel Jesus calling you? Do
you still hear (see Romans
1:24-25) him calling?
Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your
life? If the answer is yes to any of
these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
The
Feast does belong to Jesus! It is intended to encourage Saints to pray and
read every word in the bible! Let me
know if you have any questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or
in an email.
The Feast belongs
to Jesus you may share it anywhere with anyone!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

“For this
very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and
virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with
steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly
affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are
yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful
in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus” 2
Peter 1:5-8 ESV
