Why
Withhold Temporary Things?
July
6, 2013 – Job 15
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Job 15. Eliphaz criticizes
Job accusing him of not fearing of God. Eliphaz also reasons that Job is miserable
because he is a wicked man.
“34 For the company of the godless is barren,
and fire
consumes the tents of bribery.
35 They conceive trouble and give birth to evil,
and
their womb prepares deceit.”” Job 5:34, 35 English
Standard Version (ESV).
It is easy to say a
person is wicked because they are in dire straits. I think we may do it to
soothe our conscience for not reaching out to them when we see they are in
need. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will
not pass away.”
Matthew
24:35 ESV. It is a dangerous thing to soothe our conscience
rather than helping a person in need.
All things we may withhold from helping others with will not
last. If our gift of kindness leads to
one person accepting Jesus; then it is a gift that will last an eternity.
It is time to answer. Jesus is calling! Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?
Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please

This Feast belongs to
Jesus you may share it anywhere with any one!

“12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All
things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 “Food
is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both
one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the
Lord, and the Lord for the body.” 1 Corinthians 6:12-13 ESV.
