Be
Truly Happy For Others?
July 24, 2013 – Job 33
|
Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job
33.
Elihu endeavors to reveal his thoughts with Job. Elihu feels that
Job is trying to explain how God should act. It is God who calls us
to turn from sin. At times God sends trials for the good of men.
“...31
Pay attention, O Job, listen to me;
be
silent, and I will speak.
32
If you have any words, answer me;
speak,
for I desire to justify you.
33
If not, listen to me;
be
silent, and I will teach you wisdom.”
It
is a hard thing to be happy for others and content with God's
provisions if your heart is not right. “10
I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived
your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no
opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have
learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be
brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance,
I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and
need.“
Philippians 4:10-12 ESV.
