How Can
We Obtain True Freedom?
July 4, 2013 – Job 13
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Job 13. Job feel
that he doesn’t need his friends instruction and criticizes them. He reiterates
his confidence in God for justification and salvation. Job begs God to reveal
his sins so he can repent from them. “24 He takes away
understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth
and
makes them wander in a trackless waste.
25 They grope in the dark without light,
and he
makes them stagger like a drunken man.” Job 13:24,
25 English Standard Version (ESV). Job wants God to set him free from
his sins. Jesus set us free from our
sins! “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 ESV. If any person truly wants to be free they
must ask Jesus to forgive their sins. The person who repents, turns from sin
and ask Jesus into his heart understands the meaning of true freedom.
Jesus paid for your sin. Jesus is calling! Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?
