The Best of the Feast Mar 10, 2017 – Proverbs 25What Makes Sense Of The Word?
“11 “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge,
His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.” Deuteronomy
11:1 NKJV
Please join
with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day
praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast reading more proverbs of king Solomon who petitioned God for wisdom Chapter 25.
In today’s Feast we read
proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah had copied. “13 Like the cold of snow in time of harvest Is a
faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his
masters. 14 Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is like clouds and wind without
rain.” Proverbs 25:13-14 New King
James Version (NKJV). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom (see Proverbs 9:10). It is wise
to commit the proverbs to our heart (see Deuteronomy 13:3). The Holy
Spirit can bring them to our mind when we need them. “5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who
gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 NKJV. Then if we
seek the kingdom of God first (see Matthew 6:33)
all of our earthly needs will be met. The Holy Spirit will make
sense of God’s Word (see John14:26)
as we have need of it. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast
tomorrow.
Listen!

Today’s Verse; “But sanctify the Lord God in
your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a
reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;” 1 Peter 3:15 NKJV.
