Does God Love Sinners?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 16. God’s love is demonstrated in His decision to patiently love us.  “31 The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.  32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.  33 The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the Lord.” Proverbs 16:31-33 New King James Version (NKJV).  God is love and therefore cannot be pleased without love for each other (see 1 John 4:7-9).  Whoever is without love for their brother doesn’t know Jesus (see 1 John 3:16-18).  God’s love is demonstrated in our love for each other: “20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” 1 John 4:20-21  NKJV. The greatest commandment is summed up in our love for each other (see Mark 12:31).  The answer to the question (Does God Love Sinners?) can be summed up in one verse; John 3:16.
