Today’s Feast June 25, 2014-Jeremiah 51 The Destruction of Babylon clic aquí en español * Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead! “22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22 Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 51 Babylon's doom; God's controversy with her; encouragements from thence to the Israel of God. (1-58) The confirming of this. (59-64)” - Matthew Henry Concise.  The whole world will see God’s judgment taken out on Babylon; (see Jeremiah 51:1-58) they will surely be amazed (see Revelation 18:19) at how quickly she is destroyed?  The words that Jeremiah the prophet spoke (see Jeremiah 51:59-64) were read to the captives to let them know God’s promise to rescue them would be fulfilled; “62 and say, ‘O Lord, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so that nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be desolate forever.’ ” Jeremiah 51:62 ESV.  The Word of God’s is a two edged sword; He lifts up those who love Jesus and (see Revelation 18:21) puts down those who don’t. “24 Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 23:24  ESV.  We cannot serve the Lord and the World; (see Matthew 6:24) we will love one and hate the other.  Only you can make the choice; choose who you will love (see Hebrews 3:12-14) and commit with your (see Revelation 3:15) whole heart.
