Judgment And Comfort

Today’s Feast June 20, 2014-Jeremiah 46 Judgment And Comfort clic aquí en español * Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!  “11 the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” Psalm 147:11 Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 46; “The defeat of the Egyptians. (1-12) Their overthrow after the siege of Tyre. (13-26) A promise of comfort to the Jews. (27,28)”- Matthew Henry Concise.  The Word of God comes to Jeremiah (see Jeremiah 46:1-12) it is Prophecy against Egypt.  The lands of Egypt (see Jeremiah 46:13-26) fall to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. Judgment comes to Egypt for her sins while (see Jeremiah 46:27-28 ) comfort comes to God’s people their sins paid for and forgiven. “28 Fear not, O Jacob my servant, declares the Lord, for I am with you. I will make a full end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but of you I will not make a full end.  I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.” ” Jeremiah 44:30  English Standard Version (ESV).  There is a price that must be paid for sin, (see Romans 6:23) Jesus paid that price for our sin, by His sacrifice (see 1 Peter 2:22-24 ) the repentant are saved. “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Mark 8:36 ESV.  Every sin puts our soul in danger of destruction (see John 3:16) Jesus made a way for those who repent and accept God’s gift.  We can tell the world with great confidence (see Acts 4:12) Jesus is the only name under heaven by which people are comforted and saved.
