The Daily Feast in God’s Holy Word       Tue Nov 22, 2011 - Genesis 9   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 9. As we read the Feast yesterday we saw God’s covenant with Noah he promises that as long as the Earth survives we will have day and night and the seasons. This means as long as man lives on the earth it will continue to sustain life. Today we see God made a covenant to all of Noah’s descendants! Hey wait one minute, that covenant was for us, that’s you and I; “16When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."17God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth." Genesis 9:16 – 17 English Standard Version (ESV). That’s really great and it shows you that God had plans for us from the start. Remember issue number one; “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“ John 3:16 ESV. God never did forget about issue one eternal life without sin!
