Admenu Creation – Evolution News 30 Sep - Oct 2 - Zep 3- Rev 2 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in Zephaniah 3.  & Rev 1 - 2 The people who return to the Lord and put their sinful ways away will reap God’s blessings as a happy nation; "20 At that time I will bring you in,   at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised   among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes   before your eyes," says the LORD." Zephaniah 3:20 ESV. Then as we finish Zephaniah and move into the Revelation written by John.  There is a warning in here not to change one word, Revelation Overview “The Book of the Revelation of St. John consists of two principal divisions. 1. Relates to "the things which are," that is, the then present state of the church, and contains the epistle of John to the seven churches, and his account of the appearance of the Lord Jesus, and his direction to the apostle to write what he beheld, ch. 1:9-20 . Also the addresses or epistles to seven churches of Asia. These, doubtless, had reference to the state of the respective churches, as they then existed, but contain excellent precepts and exhortations, commendations and reproofs, promises and threatenings, suitable to instruct the Christian church at all times. 2. Contains a prophecy of "the things which shall be hereafter," and describes the future state of the church, from the time when the apostle beheld the visions here recorded. Admenu Creation – Evolution News   29 September - Zephaniah 2 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in Zephaniah 2.  So he says;”I don’t believe a just God would allow such suffering.  Look at the Smith Family, they were “Christians” and the whole family died in that fire.  Where was their God then?  That belief stuff is OK but you can’t say God is this or that, I just believe there is a higher God or being and some day she may reveal herself to our world! "1Gather together, yes, gather,   O shameless nation, 2 before the decree takes effect[a]   —before the day passes away like chaff— before there comes upon you   the burning anger of the LORD, before there comes upon you   the day of the anger of the LORD. 3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land,   who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility;    perhaps you may be hidden   on the day of the anger of the LORD." Zephaniah 2:1 - 3 ESV. The prophet is warning foolish people against fooling around where God was concerned.  Sometimes I look at where our country is headed and think; Our country needs to stop being foolish where God is concerned.  This is a Christian nation and we let people take God out of every corner.  It’s time for us to turn to God and pray! “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV   I’m not educated or a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in my faith? Admenu Creation – Evolution News   28 September - Zephaniah 1 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in Zephaniah 1.  No matter what faith we hold onto, we believe, we’re Not Sure, we Don’t Believe?   Do I have a personal relationship with Jesus?  It doesn’t matter where we work, what we do, do I care or I don’t care?  That great and wonderful day of the Lord is going to come, it will be great and woderfull and His Church will rejoice; "7 Be silent before the Lord GOD!   For the day of the LORD is near; the LORD has prepared a sacrifice   and consecrated his guests. 8And on the day of the LORD’s sacrifice— "I will punish the officials and the king’s sons   and all who array themselves in foreign attire. 9On that day I will punish      with  everyone who leaps over the threshold, and those who fill their master’s house violence and fraud.  Zephaniah 1:7- 9 ESV My faith isn't in possessions, it’s not in what you or I believe, so where is it?  It comes from Jesus by whom all things were made, in order for that day to be wonderful Jesus must know me, as a believer in whom he finds a personal relationship!  That’s it the personal relationship we talk of.; “21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demonsih your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me,you workers of lawlessness.'” Matthew 7:21-23 ESV   Zephaniah Overview “Zephaniah excites to repentance, foretells the destruction of the enemies of the Jews, and comforts the pious among them with promises of future blessings, the restoration of their nation, and the prosperity of the church in the latter days.” I lay my belief on the line, or am I mistaken in my faith? Admenu Creation – Evolution News 26 September - Habakkuk 3   Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in Habakkuk 3. Where does my faith dwell, with whom? Do I depend on my job, my strength to take care of my family? Do I depend on my equity in possessions, to hold me up? No I thank the Lord for all that I have I'll be a good steward. I know our maker God is life itself, he is my strength, he provides for my family and my possessions. I have stewardship of all that my God has provided;   "17Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 18yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes metread on myhigh places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. " Habakkuk 3:17 - 19 ESV. My faith isn't in possessions, if I say I earned what equity in the earthly possessions I have stewardship of, I rob God of the Glory! Our help, our strength, our very breath comes from God and Jesus by whom all things were made.   “12 You marched through the earth in fury; you threshed the nations in anger. 13 You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the house of the wicked, laying him bare from thigh to neck.” Should I look to any other for life or strength? No! I know from whom my very life flows; “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 ESV Did I get it right or am I mistaken in my faith?
