Where Does God Abide?

Today’s Feast Dec. 17, 2015 – II Samuel 3 Where Does God Abide? clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”” Matthew 1:20-21, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter 3; “David's power increases His family. (1-6) Abner revolts to David. (7-21) Joab kills Abner David mourns for him.(22-39)” -Matthew Henry Concise. During war the between the house of Saul and the house of David’s family increases and he grew stronger in power. Abner visits David at Hebron to gather information to aid in revolting against David. Joab Murders Abner and David mourned for him; “33 And the king lamented for Abner, saying, "Should Abner die as a fool dies?  34 Your hands were not bound; your feet were not fettered; as one falls before the wicked you have fallen." And all the people wept again over him.” 2 Samuel 3:33-34, ESV. God is always with us; no matter where we are or who has been appointed over us, we can always thank God for His joy. “5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”” Hebrews 13:5, ESV. Let’s keep God in charge of every area of our lives. Keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV.
