Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast reading
Psalms
55. David turns to God in his hour of need. He draws near to God to
soothe his heart and mind. David knows God holds the key to life
unaffected by enemies and evil. “
23 But
You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction;Bloodthirsty and
deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in You.”
Psalm
55:23 – New King James Version (NKJV). God the Father
wants to defend you in your hour of need. God sent His only
begotten son as ransom for your life (
See John
3:16). You can live free of evil, sin and He will overcome your enemies. It’s
up to you to turn to God and accept Jesus’ gift of life, love and
peace. Why would anyone reject God’s love? “
20 For
everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest
his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the
truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have
been done in God.””
John
3:20-21 NKJV. if the lord is willing i
will write and post the feast tomorrow.
Today’s verse;”18 For Christ
also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring
us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
” 1 Peter 3:18 NKJV.
