Today’s Feast
Jan. 21,
2016 – Acts 13
We Have The Proof!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word
daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every
word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will
he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap
corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap
eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8, English Standard Version (ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Thank you for
joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts Chapter 13; “The mission of Paul and Barnabas. (1-3) Elymas
the sorcerer. (4-13) Paul's
discourse at Antioch. (14-41) He
preaches to the Gentiles, and is persecuted by the Jews. (42-52)”
- Matthew Henry
Concise.
As the Lord lifts up laborers the mission of
Paul and Barnabas set’s off. The Magician Elymas the sorcerer opposes them.
Using the Old Testament and speaking from the book of Psalm, Paul ministers
at Antioch. He preaches to the Gentiles, and is persecuted by the Jews. “47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
"'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation
to the ends of the earth.'" 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they
began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were
appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And the word of the Lord was spreading
throughout the whole region. 50 But the Jews incited the devout women of high
standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul
and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district. 51 But they shook off the
dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium. 52 And the disciples
were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Acts
13:47-52, ESV. Even those that start out against you in your ministry God
can turn into your allies. Jesus is not willing that any should
parish, even your enemies can be turned by the Holy Spirit. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the
truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John
14:6, ESV. We have the proof of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his
resurrection. Please join us in keeping the first thing first, that’s
salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. We can do everything through Jesus;
there are no limits in where His Word can take us.
If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post
the Feast again tomorrow
You’ll find the
praise and prayer list at; admenu.com/prayer.html. Prayer request or Praise reports can be
sent to brother Mike at; mike@admenu.com
Don’t get
caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends
completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in
full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every
Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels
of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are
building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to
change anything. Click this link for

God Bless You,
Brother
