Today’s Feast
Dec. 24,
2015 – II Samuel 10
Christmas Eve 2015!
Today in our Christian nation
we chose to celebrate Christmas Eve! That is this evening prior to the birth
of Jesus that we choose to observe.
Praying for peace and goodwill to all people! Thanking God for sending Jesus to set us who
believe in God’s only Son free. – Amen!
“And they went with haste and found Mary and
Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known
the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard
it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these
things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying
and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.”
Luke
2:16-20, English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter
10; “David's messengers ill-treated by Hanun. (1-5) The Ammonites defeated. (6-14) The Syrians defeated. (15-19)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
David
sends his messengers to Hanun, because his father dealt loyally with Israel.
Hanun had David’s messengers beards shaved and half their garments cut off,
to shame them. The Ammonites no being scared of the Israelite army hired
Syrians to defend them. God’s people defeated the Syrians. “18 And the Syrians fled before Israel, and David killed of the
Syrians the men of 700 chariots, and 40,000 horsemen, and wounded Shobach the
commander of their army, so that he died there. 19 And when all the kings who
were servants of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they
made peace with Israel and became subject to them. So the Syrians were afraid
to save the Ammonites anymore.” 2
Samuel 10:18-19, ESV. David’s army won the battles neither because of
their numbers nor their might, they won because they served and had faith in
the only God. A nation that trust’s in God will always be safe from the
world. Keep
the first thing first, that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Have
a Blessed Christmas Eve., If the Lord is willing
I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
You’ll
find the praise and prayer list at; admenu.com/prayer.html. Prayer request or Praise reports can be
sent to brother Mike at; mike@admenu.com
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation
depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life
to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to
get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day
and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the
Father only.” Matthew
24:36, ESV. We are building our
relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change
anything. Click this link for more

God Bless You,
Brother
