Today’s FeastMay 13, 2015 – Leviticus 22God Said It, It's Settled!
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears
the Lord, she shall be praised.”
Proverbs
31:30
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Leviticus Chapter
22;
“Laws
concerning the priests and sacrifices.”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
In
today's feast we see that God has set down the law
for
the priests and
sacrifices;
”31
"Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them:
I am the Lord.”
Leviticus
21:22-24,
NKJV. By the same token God has set down the qualifications for
those who would hold office in today's
Church; “1
This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a
bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless,
the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good
behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not given to wine, not
violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not
covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children
in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how
to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of
God?);”
1
Timothy 3:1-5
NKJV. How
can we build strengthen and wear the shield of faith? Faith comes
by what we’ve been doing together all along. “17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans
10:17
NKJV. Remember God is not willing that anyone should parish. Jesus
expects us to move forward in Saintly Service preaching His love,
His righteousness, not their sin. “7
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved
with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household,
by which he condemned the world and became heir of the
righteousness which is according to faith.”
Hebrews
11:7
NKJV. God
said it and that settles it! Are you
ready to stand. If
so
let’s stand together
in
Saintly Service!
If
the Lord is willing I will post The Feast again tomorrow.
