Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “28 But rebels and sinners shall be broken together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.” Isaiah 1:28 Jeremiah Chapter 5, “The Jews' profession of religion was hypocritical. (1-9) The cruel proceedings of their enemies. (10-18)Their apostacy and idolatry. (19-31)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 5.  God’s people have become hypocrites (see Jeremiah 5:1-9) they are not glorifying God.  The Lord proclaims judgment (see Jeremiah 5:10-18) for the house of Israel and the house of Judah.  God is angry at his people, they are deceitful and wicked (see Jeremiah 5:19-31) they are not a righteous people who trust in the Lord.  “31 the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes? “  Jeremiah 5:31  English Standard Versions (ESV).  In everything we say or do we should be lovingly (see Matthew 22:35-41) pleasing the LORD and lovingly reaching out to all of God’s creation.   “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. “  Ephesians 4:32 ESV.  When we are trusting God and reaching out others in sincere love (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3), we are pleasing Jesus.
