Proverbs 11 “A man of understanding
does not judge of others by their success.” -
Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
As we read Proverbs 11 we
are shown the contrasts between spiritual wisdom as opposed to fleshly folly! “30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever
captures souls is wise. 31 If the
righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner!” Proverbs
11:30-31 (English Standard Version) ESV. If I judge others by
their success or make fun of them it is counted to me as senseless folly (see
Proverbs
11). A man of understanding does not judge of
others by their outward appearance or success. It
is important to remember that Jesus would prefer that all men would come to
accept the gift of salvation (see 2
Peter 3:9). Once
again I would say; “It is good to hate the sin and to remember that Jesus
came to redeem the sinner.” “19 “Do
not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and
where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break
in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 ESV. We
share a loving spiritual God with the world; and only by the power of his
Spirit can people truly know and share Jesus.
Is Jesus calling you? Can
you still feel God’s calling? Do you
want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
The Feast does belong to Jesus! It is intended to
encourage Saints to pray and read every word in the bible! Let me know if you have any questions or
comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.
The Feast
belongs to Jesus you may share it anywhere with anyone!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

“14 Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord,
the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. 15 Hate evil, and love good, and establish
justice in the gate; it may be that the Lord, the God of hosts, will be
gracious to the remnant of Joseph.” Amos 5:14-15 ESV.
