Seeking Wisdom In The New Year?

Today’s Year End Feast clic aquí en español I Dec. 31, 2013 – Proverbs 2 What’s The Value of Wisdom? You will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2  “Promises to those who seek wisdom. (1-9) The advantages of wisdom. (10-22)” -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu - Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we thank God for the blessings of 2013 and look forward to serving Jesus in the New Year!  We prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs  Chapter 2 Proverbs 2 Points out the values and promises awaiting the believer who seeks wisdom.  “21 For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, 22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it” Proverbs 2:21-22 (English Standard Version) ESV.  We should prefer the wisdom, understanding and fear of God over Gold and Silver (see Proverbs 2:4-5).  Jesus said; “I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.”  Therefor we must seek the wisdom of God to accomplish our mission for Jesus.  God’s Word tells us how to prepare for spiritual warfare (see Ephesians 6:10-18). “18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.  19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?  I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19  ESV.  Let’s join Jesus in bringing forth this new thing.  Jesus has a purpose for you; seek God’s wisdom and Jesus’ righteousness (see Matthew 6:33). The Holy Spirit will give you what you need when you need it (see John 14:26).  Ask God for wisdom; it comes with purpose and promise (see James 3:17).
