Relationships Mark 5

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 5

The Feast

Apr 10-2012 Mark 5

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 5. Is everyday with Jesus better than the day before? I think that would depend on our individual relationship with Him. This woman that reached out to Him had no relationship with him so she was afraid of Jesus after she was healed. She had faith that Jesus could heal her just by His presence, she thought he might rebuke her as a person. “28 For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.” 29 And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. 30 And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?”31 And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’” 32 And he looked around to see who had done it. 33 But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.” Mark 5:28-33 ESV. Whenever a person comes forward to our Savior in faith they are rewarded “ 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”” Mark 5:34 ESV. We are sure her life with Jesus became better once she openly confessed her faith in Jesus. She went from being an unhealthy person, to a Daughter in the King’s court. ”Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.Proverbs 28:13 ESV. Now we are assured that we are saved in our relationship with God’s only Son Jesus “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,Ephesians 1:7 ESV. I say again just knowing who Jesus is isn’t enough, enjoy a saintly relationship with Him. “know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:15 ESV. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:6-8 ESV
