Nov. 19, 2016 – Psalms 60-61
About Praise &Prayer?
Please join with us sharing god’s word daily. We spend
about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in god’s word in
approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading both Psalms 60 and Psalms 61 David was praying for victory while striving with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return struck down twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. In chapter 61 David starts with tears and ends with prayers as he seeks God’s protection. “11 Give us help from trouble,
For the help of man is useless.
12 Through God we will do valiantly,
For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
” Psalm 60:11-12 – New King James Version
(NKJV). How should we approach God when praying in Jesus name? We
can look at David’s prayers here in these psalms; “8 So will I ever
sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day.” Psalm 61:8 NKJV. When we entreat Jesus for
anything pray believing that an answer is coming. Giving God
praise while praying shows Him we are praying sincerely. When you pray
sincerely seeking an answer; wait on the Lord and listen for God’s answer. “Do
not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” Proverbs 27:1 NKJV. if the lord is willing I will write and post
the feast tomorrow.
Jesus LOVES you, listen to Him. Today
is your day of salvation. Do you want to find peace and
purpose? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s
verse; ”1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2 NKJV.
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Law Soothes Minds And Kills Souls?
The Law
Soothes Minds And Kills Souls?
July 5, 2013 – Job 14
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Job 14. Job
addresses God and declares his view of man's life. Job also addresses his
view of man's death. Sin causes the corruption
of all people.
“20 You prevail forever against him, and he
passes;
you
change his countenance, and send him away.
21 His sons come to honor, and he does not know
it;
they are
brought low, and he perceives it not.
22 He feels only the pain of his own body,
and he
mourns only for himself.”” Job 14:24, 25 English
Standard Version (ESV).
God’s Word tells us
to flee sexual immorality. Sin remains
deadly whether or not it is lawful. “12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All
things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 “Food
is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both
one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the
Lord, and the Lord for the body.”
1
Corinthians 6:12-13 ESV. Men will do things that are immoral and sinful
feeling justified because people of low moral values have made it lawful. When
a court or a nation condones immorality to sooth a wicked soul they condemn that
soul to death. Our God is not willing that any should
perish (see 2 Peter 3:9), but that every sinner will
come to repentance.
Jesus paid for your sin. Jesus is calling! Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?
Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please

Ask yourself; Whom do I serve?
Ask yourself; Whom do I serve?
April 20, 2013 - 2 Chronicles 30
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 30 King
Hezekiah loved God and decided to keep the Passover house of the Lord at
Jerusalem. King Hezekiah, through grace, turned to God and
he was doing all he could to bring others to him. “26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon
the son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in
Jerusalem. 27 Then the priests and the Levites arose and blessed the people,
and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to his holy habitation in
heaven.’ 2 Chronicles 30:26-27 English
Standard Version (ESV). God knew King Hezekiah’s heart. God
knows the heat of those who serve him as well as those who are using religion
to serve themselves. Though it was
easy to see Hezekiah was sincere because he made Israel as welcome to the Passover,
as any of his own subjects. “12 And what I am doing I will
continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to
claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. 13
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as
apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an
angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise
themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their
deeds.” 1
Corinthians 15:20-22 ESV. Saint’s, you and I must guard against those
who are using the gospel for their own gratification. But not only others we must judge our own
hearts. Am I in God’s service for my
own gratification?

“But
in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who
have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection
of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made
alive.” 1
Corinthians 15:20-22 ESV.

Dressed for victory! – Romans 8
Dressed for victory! – Romans 8
![]()
March 15, 2013 - Romans 8
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 8. Saints we are among the believers who are
separated in Jesus from condemnation. We share in the privileges as the children
of God through Jesus. We who know Jesus
and have faith in Him. We have hope through Jesus when under attacks of the
world. The Holy Spirit gives us peace and guides us
in prayer. The love of God is in our interest as we serve Jesus. We hold on to the promise that through
Christ we will have victory over worldly things. “37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor
angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate
us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:24-25, English Standard Version
(ESV). Not only do we have faith in
Jesus we rejoice in the power of His might.
God prepares us for whatever duty He gives us! “let it be known
to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him
this man is standing before you well. And there is salvation in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be
saved.” ” Acts 4:10, 12 ESV. Our Lord died so that we would have victory
over whatever the world challenges us with.
God dresses us and the Holy Spirit supports us for victory in Jesus
(see 1 Thessalonians 5:7-9 ESV). In
God’s army we are clothed in God’s armor.

“For
this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and
virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with
steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly
affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are
yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful
in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:5-8 ESV.
