The Best of the Feast
Funeral Song
Please join us sharing God’s
Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years. Gods Not
Dead!
“18 and cried
out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great
city?’” Revelation 18:18
New King James Version (NKJV).
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 27; The Lord God said; Ezekiel, son of
man, sing a funeral song for Tyre, (Ezekiel 27:1-25) she is like a ship built to
perfection and loaded with heavy cargo. Sailings across the sea,
you were hit and wrecked by strong winds, (Ezekiel 27:26-36) and rulers of the people
living on the shore are terrified; “36 The merchants among the peoples will
hiss at you; You will become a horror, and be no more forever.' " '
"” Ezekiel 27:36 NKJV. Thank Jesus
when the world around us is falling down, (Romans 8:28) we who love and follow Him
will have peace that passes understanding; “1 To the Chief Musician. A
Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. God is our refuge and
strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 NKJV. Here is a
question that begs to be answered; (Romans 8:30-32) If God is for
us who will prosper when they turn against us? If I die my funeral
song (Philippians 1:21-23) should be a celebration! If
the Lord is willing I will write and share the Feast tomorrow.
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 27; ”The
merchandise of Tyre. (1-25) Its fall and ruin. (26-36)“ – Matthew Henry
Concise.
The
Lord God said; Ezekiel, son of man, sing a funeral song for Tyre, (see
Ezekiel 27:1-25) she is like a ship built to perfection and loaded with heavy
cargo. Sailings across the sea, you
were hit and wrecked by strong winds, (see Ezekiel 27:26-36) and rulers of
the people living on the shore are terrified; “36 The merchants among the
peoples hiss at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more
forever.'”” Ezekiel 27:36 English Standard Version (ESV). Thank Jesus when the world around us is falling
down, (see Romans 8:28) we who love and follow Him will have peace that
passes understanding; “1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help
in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 ESV. Here is a
question that begs to be answered; (see Romans 8:30-32) If God is for us who will prosper when
they turn against us? If I die my
