The Best of the Feast

Jan. 18, 2017 – Psalms 131-132
Can We Accept Jesus’ Promises?
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast with two chapters, Psalms 131
&132. In Psalms 131 The Psalmist
humbly declares that God’s people will be content in their walk with the
Lord. “1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither
do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. 2 Surely I have calmed
and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.” Psalm
131:1-2 – New King
James Version (NKJV). In Psalms 132 David is
clinging to God’s promises concerning the Lords chosen people. “17 There I will make the horn of David grow; I will
prepare a lamp for My Anointed. 18 His
enemies I will clothe with shame, But upon Himself His crown shall flourish.”” Psalms 132:17-18,NKJV. Like David
we should trust God no matter how the world makes our situation appear. Jesus
has made us promises concerning our eternal life (See Hebrews 13:5). “35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life.
He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never
thirst.” John 6:35 – NKJV. Jesus
promised that those that accept his offer of salvation His church will never
hunger or thirst again (See Revelation 7:15-17). We thank you Jesus
in that you will personally wipe the tears from our eyes! Hallelujah! If the Lord is willing I will write and post
the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “No temptation has overtaken
you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will
not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation
will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13, NKJV.
