Do We Bless Jesus?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 103. This Psalmist is asking the people of God to exalt God with every ounce of their existence. “21 Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure. 22 Bless the Lord, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!”  Psalm 103:21-22 – New King James Version (NKJV).   Just like the Psalmist we should be exalting God with every ounce of our being.  God’s Word tells us how much God loves us (See John 3:16)!  Think of just how much we should love God (See Matthew 22:37)?  Can we truthfully answer the question; Am I blessing Jesus with every ounce of my being? “15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”  1 John 2:15-16 NKJV.  Have I elected to live for Jesus or the world (see Joshua 24:15)? Answer the hard question; Do I honor my faith in Jesus with the decisions I make?  If you can answer yes to these questions thank Jesus; you are like a living stone being built up into a spiritual house, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus (see 1 Peter 2:5).
