Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Judges Chapter 18; “The Danites seek to enlarge their inheritance, and rob Micah.” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we see the folly of the Danites. What they seek and steal cannot help nor protect them. “16 Now the 600 men of the Danites, armed with their weapons of war, stood by the entrance of the gate. 17 And the five men who had gone to scout out the land went up and entered and took the carved image, the ephod, the household gods, and the metal image, while the priest stood by the entrance of the gate with the 600 men armed with weapons of war. 18 And when these went into Micah's house and took the carved image, the ephod, the household gods, and the metal image, the priest said to them, “What are you doing?” 19 And they said to him, “Keep quiet; put your hand on your mouth and come with us and be to us a father and a priest. Is it better for you to be priest to the house of one man, or to be priest to a tribe and clan in Israel?”” Judges 18:18-19, ESV. They took a priest appointed by a man and the carved images made to worsip buy men. The true God of Israel and us is the only living God. Beside Him there are no other God's! “8 I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.” Isaiah 42:8, ESV. Their is only one way mankind can reach out and know the Lord God we worship; that is in spirit and truth through Jesus! “6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6, ESV. All the yime keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation through the blood of Jesus. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son,[a] but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV.
