Today’s Feast
July 14,
2015 –Deuteronomy 6
Concerning
Our Relationship With God?
Please join with us
sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying
and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three
years.
“10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my
love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his
love.” John 15:10 English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank you for
joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter 6: “A persuasive to obedience. (1-3) An exhortation to obedience. (4,5)
Obedience taught. (6-16) General precepts, Instructions to be given to
their children. (17-25)”
- Matthew
Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)
Look at the laws God set up for His people, here we find out just how important God is to his people. “4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 You
shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on
your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall
talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and
when you lie down, and when you rise.” Deuteronomy
6:4–7, ESV. Oh brother that is old testament scripture. I suppose you still
believe in the “Creation Story”? If you do you do well because Jesus said
this concerning our relationship with God. “26
He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 27 And he
answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your
neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly;
do this, and you will live.””
Luke
10:26-28 ESV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. Lord
willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s
call? Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship.
Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept
Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day
and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the
Father only.” Matthew 24:36 ESV. We are building
our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change
anything;admenu.com/calling.html
