The Golden Calf!

Today’s Feast April 13, 2015 – Exodus 32 The Golden Calf! “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,“ Romans 3:23-24, New King James Version (NKJV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 32; “The people cause Aaron to make a golden calf. (1-6) God's displeasure, The intercession of Moses. (7-14) Moses breaks the tables of the law, He destroys the golden calf. (15-20) Aaron's excuse, The idolaters slain. (21-29) Moses prays for the people. (30-35)“ - Matthew Henry Concise. It seems to me that people sin when they don’t see the hand of God moving. At least that is what we see the God’s people doing when Moses is delayed on the mountain with God. They decided that a god shThe Golden Calfould be made to worship by man’s hands. Aaron took their gold jewelry and fashioned a golden calf for them to worship. Retribution was quick.; “33 And the Lord said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book. 34 Now therefore, go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, My Angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I visit for punishment, I will visit punishment upon them for their sin." 35 So the Lord plagued the people because of what they did with the calf which Aaron made.” Exodus 32:33-35 NKJV. God doesn’t work on our schedule! When you are not sure that you are in God’s will pray and read his word. When you pray be patient and persistent God will hear you. We can develop a practice to pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances. Sometimes when we are caught up in daily life we may find it difficult to praise God; God’s Word the Bible teaches us that all things are possible through Christ, we can continually praise God in the spirit of praise and thanksgiving, in the hardest of circumstances.; “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everythThe Golden Calfing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV. Concerning faith when you can’t “FEEL” God, forget feeling, you know how to build the faith.; ”16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:16-17 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to The Golden Calfworship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
