Joseph Reveals His Identity

Today’s Feast

Feb 7, 2015 - Genesis 45
Joseph Reveals His Identity

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
10 You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked." Psalm 97:10 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 45; “Joseph comforts his brethren, and sends for his father. (1-15) Pharaoh confirms Joseph's invitation, Joseph's gifts to his brethren. (16-24) Jacob receives the news of Joseph's being alive. (25-28)- Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 45, we see Joseph dealing with the brothers that sold him into slavery. He talked to his brothers through an interpreter so their was no reason for his brothers to recognize him. Joseph falsely represented himself to his brothers. Finally he could keep up the lie no more. He told his brothers the truth about how God had blessed him. When he confessed the truth to his brothers, God blessed him again; ”16 Now the report of it was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, "Joseph's brothers have come." So it pleased Pharaoh and his servants well. 17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Say to your brothers, 'Do this: Load your animals and depart; go to the land of Canaan. 18 Bring your father and your households and come to me; I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land. 19 Now you are commanded--do this: Take carts out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your father and come. 20 Also do not be concerned about your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.' "Genesis 45:16-20 NKJV. So we see Joseph stopped lying and sinning against his father and God, he was so richly blessed again. The next time you feel not so close to God examine yourself and see if you have moved away from the Light! Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners. So confess your sin and ask God forgiveness. You may see the Light grow brighter again in your life.
[Bless the LORD, O My Soul] Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,” 103:1-2 NKJV. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Salvation is at hand, If you want to be saved and turn away from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
