Today’s Feast
Nov. 7, 2014- Habakkuk 1
The Lord's Answer
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will
spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.  Gods
  Not Dead!
“41 "Behold, you despisers, Marvel and
perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means
believe, Though one were to declare it to you.' "” Acts
13:41 - New King James Version
  (NKJV)
Dear
  Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
  reading the book of Habakkuk Chapter 1;
“The subject of this prophecy is the destruction of Judea and Jerusalem
for the sins of the people, and the consolation of the faithful under
  national calamities.
The wickedness of the land.
The fearful vengeance to be executed. (1-11) These
judgments to be inflicted by a nation more wicked than themselves. (12-17)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Habakkuk is moved by the ungodly acts he
sees everywhere he turns; (see Habakkuk 1:1-4) because the wicked surround the
righteous and justice appears warped.   Just as we are supposed to do; God
instructs Habakkuk to wait upon the Lord and watch; (see Habakkuk
1:5-11) they will be held guilty, the one whose strength is false gods.  The prophet questions the Lord; (see
  Habakkuk
1:12-17) because his share multiplies and they are living in luxury; “16
  Therefore they sacrifice to their net, And burn incense to their dragnet;
Because by them their share is sumptuous And their food plentiful. 17 Shall
they therefore empty their net, And continue to slay nations without pity? ” Habakkuk
1:16-17 NKJV.  Look around you saints (see Romans 8:28) no matter how bad the world seems, God promised you that all
things will work to your advantage;  “1
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in
authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and
reverence. ” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NKJV.  Pray for all men
  great and small (see 1
Timothy 3:4) and manage your home life,
you are ambassadors for Jesus.  While
we wait on our Lord Jesus; (see 1 Timothy
  3:12) strive to keep your
home in perfect order, because this is God’s will for us.
Are you ready to trust God?  If the answer is yes; today
is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave,
change or quit anything (see Revelation
  3:20) Jesus is at knocking
at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you
are!   Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him
today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your
life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the
