What God Really Wants!

What God Really Wants!
Sept. 24, 2013 – Psalms 50

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 50 - “The glory of God. (1-6) Sacrifices to be changed for prayers. (7-15) Sincere obedience required. (16-23)- Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 50. The psalmist entreats the “Rich Man”, God doesn’t want your money or sacrifice.  God owns the world and everything in it. “22 “Mark this, then, you who forget God,
    lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver!
23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me;
    to one who orders his way rightly
    I will show the salvation of God!””   Psalm 50:22-23 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Our Lord wants your heartfelt (sincere) thanksgiving!

 “Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.Hebrews 10:35-36 ESV
