Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 26-28. In this Scripture is we see Jesus fulfilling scriptural prophesy. He is also telling people about, his death and how he is going to overcome death. All that Jesus did and said came to pass, scripture was fulfilled, death overcome by his resurrection. He appeared do the disciples and before he departed he gave a commission for all believers to come; “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold,I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 19 English Standard Version (ESV). Once again please listen to what we are feasting on. Jesus promised to be with us until God’s kingdom comes to the end of age. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm” Ephesians 6:12-13 ESV. Dear Saints,

Who said anything about the weekend? Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 25. In this Scripture is we see Jesus talking about the the saints who have a personal relationship with him. Even if all you do is share the Feast with others, your sharing God’s word. God’s Word is the Feast; “34Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’“ Matthew 25:34-36 English Standard Version (ESV). If we just read about God but don’t know him we are spinning our wheels. Therefor keep the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, faith from the Word of God. “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” James 4:10 ESV. Our relationship with God is special in and of itselt! Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. In this Scripture is we see Jesus teaching about the coming kingdom. This is the reason you and I have the Feast; “44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?“ Matthew 24:44-45 English Standard Version (ESV). If we just read about God but don’t know him we couldn’t live in the new kingdom. By the same token keeping the first thing first. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 23. In this Scripture is we see Jesus teaching about those who belong to the “religion” but miss the relationship; “ 13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in“ Matthew 23:13 English Standard Version (ESV). These are the ones who worry about what they look like to others. They would turn God’s kingdom into a club where they would be exalted; “5 They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, 6 and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues” Matthew 23:5-6 ESV. Share the Glory of God so that those whom you share with will be saved and Jesus glorified. Then you truly love your neighbor as yourself, be true to the Lord, not to your glory; “25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean.” Matthew 23:25-26. Keep your relationship true to God and therefore not willing that any should parish! I pray we all had a blessed weekend. Did your light shine? Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 22. In this Scripture is we see Jesus teaching about the greatest commandment; “36“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment.“ Matthew 22:36-38 English Standard Version (ESV). Now I see, Jesus has shared a basic truth about faith. You can see how important it is to focus on our relationship as we Feast on God’s Word. If we just read about God but don’t know him we couldn’t love him with all our heart. By the same token keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, forgiveness of sin. Life more abundantly everlasting goodness. How could we understand God’s love and the importance of carrying the message to our neighbors without love? God isn’t willing that any should parish, if we know him personally we will carry his message wherever we go to all we become neighbors with. At work, the ball game or at the church meeting whomever we can talk to. Let our conversation be full of truth and love, let them see God’s love in you; “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 ESV. Now we can share our faith just by the way we conduct ourselves. If you really love your neighbor share good news not bragging, gossip or hate. If you conduct yourself in a holy manner, you will love your neighbor as yourself; “39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:39-40 ESV. We are in the relationship with God therefore we are not willing that any should parish! Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 19-21. In this Scripture is we see Jesus fulfilling scriptural prophesy. He is also telling people about, life and how a marriage works; “4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said,‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh.What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19 English Standard Version (ESV). Once again please listen to what we are feasting on. Jesus is making a mystery known to you and I. He plainly says that he created male and female equally. More than this it is important to note that in marriage a man and woman become one flesh. This is so important to take note of, many people think of the worldly loss in divorce. The pain in divorce, is more than monetary or simple feelings. It is the pain of ripping apart a single flesh. How should we handle our differences in a marriage. It should be of higher importance than dealing with worldly sin. When a saint sins against another saint we are told to be forgiving; “ 21 Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Matthew 18:21-22 ESV. Jesus is very explicit to us about the relationship between a man and woman in marriage, it makes them one flesh. So when spouses disagree should not the solution be resolved with a higher importance, than a relationship between two saints. Have a good weekend Saints, let your light shine! Be an ambassador for Christ;“[Testing of Your Faith] Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” James 1:2-3 ESV ESV. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 17 and Matthew 18 for Thursday. In this Scripture is we see Jesus comparing his followers to little children. Not in wisdom but in spirit. Those that wholly accept Jesus gift have the faith of a child; “1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:1-4 - English Standard Version (ESV). Now as a senior a father and a grandfather I understand the faith of a child. When my son was about five years old he picked up a mouse by the tail. The beast swung around and bit him on the thumb. Which for it’s part was quite smart because my son let him go. Now it goes without saying that I hadn’t always make the best decisions. In order to try to scare my boy so he wouldnt continue to pick up wildlife I thought I would lie to scare him. I took his little hand in mine it said; “It looks bad son I’m afraid I’m going to cut your thumb off to save your hand.” I pulled my pocket knife out thinking he might run when Iet loose of his hand. He bravely saw me open the knife and he held his thumb up, turned his head and with his eyes shut said; “OK Dad”. That was a picture of braveness and faith like I had never seen. I spent two years in Viet Nam and had never seen that kind of bravery nor faith. What hurt was the faith was placed in me the one that lied to him. I sheepishly changed my tone and said; “You know son we just have to clean it and put some antibiotics on it” It’s no wonder how God feels so strongly when that kind of faith is put on him; “ 5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,[a] it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 16:5-9 ESV. Now it is easy to see that it is about a relationship with Jesus. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. ““No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 16. In this Scripture is we see Jesus telling the disciples that it is more profitable to gain a relationship with him than success of and in the world; “24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26 - English Standard Version (ESV). Listen to what we are feasting on. I got a pamphlet advertising to to cure all the ails of senior life. They had health and diet tips also how to succeed financially. How to get along with your spouse now that you are retired. The thing that seniors, (the same as all people) need the most salvation was not even hinted at. Well I guess it’s true that man needs more than bread to live; “2He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ 3 And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” Matthew 16:5-9 ESV. I say it again, it is not about “tradition” or “religion”, it is about a relationship with Jesus. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. “Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.”Philippians 2:14-16 ESV. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 15. In this Scripture is we see Jesus fulfilling scriptural prophesy, it would be hard to miss the healing, feedings and all the miracles being performed; “29 Jesus went on from there and walked beside the Sea of Galilee. And he went up on the mountain and sat down there. 30 And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them, 31 so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.” Matthew 15:29-31 - English Standard Version (ESV). Listen to what we are feasting on. This is how we can tell that Jesus wants us to understand, that religion is dead. There is life in our relationship with Jesus; “5 But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or his mother, “What you would have gained from me is given to God,” 6 he need not honor his father.’ So for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God. 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said:

8 “‘This people honors me with their lips,

but their heart is far from me;

9 in vain do they worship me,

teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”” Matthew 16:5-9 ESV. It is not about “tradition” or “religion”, it is about a relationship with Jesus. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now. “[Keep in Step with the Spirit] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”Galatians 5:16 ESV. Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 12-14. In this Scripture is we see Jesus telling us that scriptural prophesy is being fulfilled. Here is a look at the prophesy; “You will be ever hearing, but never understanding; / you will be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ / This people’s heart has become calloused; / they hardly hear with their ears, / and they have closed their eyes“ Isaiah 6:10 Hebrew; Septuagint Foot Note [a] New International Version (NIV). Once again please listen to what we are feasting on. This is how we can tell that Jesus was fulfilling Old Testament prophesy. This is where faith is offered in God’s Word the fulfilment of that which was prophesied. This is why Jesus was speaking in parables; “13 This is why I speak to them in parables:

“Though seeing, they do not see;

though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;

you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;

they hardly hear with their ears,

and they have closed their eyes.

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,

hear with their ears,

understand with their hearts

and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]” Matthew 13:13-15 ESV. Jesus very words to us and the disciples fulfill prophesy. Have a good weekend Saints, let your light shine! Be an ambassador for Christ;“that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 ESV. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 11. In this Scripture is we see Jesus telling us that scriptural prophesy is being fulfilled. Here is a look at the prophesy; “17 Is it not yet a very little while

until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field,

and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest?

18 In that day the deaf shall hear

the words of a book,

and out of their gloom and darkness

the eyes of the blind shall see.

19 The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the LORD,

and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel.“ Isaiah 29:17-19 English Standard Version (ESV). Listen to what we are feasting on. This is how we can tell that Jesus was fulfilling Old Testament prophesy. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 10. In this Scripture is where we see Jesus telling the disciples how to carry his Word to the community. Who to go to, what to look for, how to act; “11 And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart. 12 As you enter the house, greet it. 13 And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. 15 Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.“ Matthew 10:11-15 English Standard Version (ESV). Listen, Saint; “this we hear for our ministry as well as the disciple’s ministry.” Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, forgiveness of sin. Life more abundantly everlasting goodness. So now we can go forward, pronouncing Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We can continue to prayerfully faithfully Feast on God’s Word; “Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalm 118:5-6 ESV. What do you think about our feast Saint? I received this picture today in my email: At first glance I thought; “This must be about God’s Word, the Holy Bible! But as I read on I discovered that the lady in the picture was talking about the 1934 Montgomery Ward’s Catalog. I would like to think the Word of God would carry such admiration and commitment.

Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being; where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior“. If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 9. In this Scripture is where we see Jesus challenging those who called themselves believers; “1 And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city. 2 And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 7 And he rose and went home. 8 When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.“ Matthew 9:1-8 English Standard Version (ESV). Now I see, Jesus has power over all things. Once again we see how important it is to focus on our relationship as we Feast on God’s Word. Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, forgiveness of sin. Life more abundantly everlasting goodness. So now we can go forward, walking humbly, pronouncing Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We are faithfully feasting on God’s Word; “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 ESV. Was your weekend blessed, did you bless Jesus? Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 8. In this Scripture is where we see Jesus acting on the faith of those who believe; “13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.“ Matthew 8:13 English Standard Version (ESV). Have you considered where this kind of faith comes from? “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. ” Romans 10:17 - ESV. Once again we see how important it is to focus on our relationship as we Feast on God’s Word. Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God. So now we can go forward, walking humbly, pronouncing Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We are faithfully feasting on God’s Word; “[Lay Up Treasures in Heaven] “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 ESV. I’m looking forward to your input.
